Newest Shock-Woo! Review
June 28, 2010 at 11:57 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a CommentCheck this out excerpt from the review: “The best example of this is the track, “Wtf (What the F**k) You Doin in My Mouth”, that has a pretty self explanatory title and is filled with f-bombs that rival the rapid firing from the Thompson sub-machine guns used in the Saint Valentine’s Day massacre.”
Ha ha.

hello glitterkids,
so for the Northside Festival in Brooklyn, Tayisha will be playing 2 different shows. One we’ll be a part of the huge Crushfest line up taking place at Public Assembly on Tuesday, June 24th and the other party will be a crazy night at the House of Yes on Saturday, June 16th.
Crushfest
House of Yes
The L Magazine’s Northside Festival has made a brave and very smart move by welcoming the House of Yes and Tayisha Busay as they present a night of the brightest, baddest, chrome-covered, high-bouncing music and righteous showmanship that you can only find in the bottom of a Lucky Charms box, OR at this show. Bands that have fun? Is this really Williamsburg? The night will prove itself to be the most unique and powerful show in the festival. Line-up includes;
Tayisha Busay – a glitter-chugging, electro-dance trio of choreographed, detention room C+ students that make ridiculous DIY pop – a mind expanding take on the girl group. myspace.com/tayishabusay
Chappo is an electro-pop band from a parallel universe. They’re “spacey-ear-candy”. It’s “Eno vs Flaming Lips kind of flavor” -37 Flood – chappomusic.com
Bad Brilliance has a very large and very strange yellow ball head and his music will blow your mind. myspace.com/badbrilliance
Planet Rump (live DJ dance floor set) – an interplanetary booty-blastin electro-funk trio that crash landed here on Earth to give birth to your wildest fantasies.myspace.com/planetrump
June 26th , House of Yes, 342 Maujer St. (L to Grand). Doors at 9pm. Drink Specials all night.
$10 at the door. $7 if you come decked in glitter.
$6 if you RSVP before June 25th to TayishaBusayMusic@gmail.com
